Privacy policy

Effective date: 2026-10-25. This policy covers the Manus IPTV app for Android TV ("the app").

Summary

The app has no accounts and no analytics of its own. Your settings stay on your TV. The app includes Google ML Kit, which sends some anonymous diagnostic data to Google (see below).

Data that stays on your device

Your playlist links, settings, favourites and watch history are stored only on your TV. We do not receive them and have no server that could.

Data the app downloads

The app downloads the playlists and public data feeds that you configure, directly from the addresses you provide. Those addresses are run by third parties and see your TV's network address like any website would. We do not control them.

Add-from-phone page

When you choose to add a playlist from your phone, the app starts a small web page on your local network. It runs only while that screen is open and is reachable only from devices on the same network.

Google ML Kit (translation and language identification)

Subtitle translation and language identification run on the TV using Google ML Kit. The language models are downloaded from Google when first needed. ML Kit sends anonymous usage and diagnostic data to Google, for example a Firebase installation ID and app and performance information. We do not receive this data. YouTube

Some links open the YouTube app if installed. Its use is governed by YouTube's own terms and privacy policy.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your country).

Your choices

Uninstalling the app removes all data it stored on your TV. Questions about Google's data handling: see the Google policy above.
